Let's start 2016 with an experiment which will allow you to test diffusion (click here to read more about this process).
You will need:
- 2 glasses or jars
- hot and cold water
- blue ink
- vinegar
Method:
- Fill one glass with cold water and the other with hot water.
- Next, add 3 drops of ink into each glass and gently stir it.
- You will observe that the cold water turned blue and the hot water stayed clear.
- To make the hot water blue, add a teaspoon of vinegar and stir it.
